KOTRA, (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), Mumbai Office is a trade office of Embassy of the Republic of Korea and sponsored by Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy. It is a Korean Governments Trade and Investment Promotion Organization. Kotra is a Gateway to do business with Korea and your Global Business Partner. 1. Facilitating International Trade: KOTRA serves as a bridge between Korean exporters and overseas buyers. Kotra provides consultancy service free of cost to Indian companies to procure goods and services from Korea by identifying and introducing the most suitable Korean Manufacturers / Suppliers who can meet quality standard, technical and commercial requirements and supply at the most competitive price. We assist Indian companies to represent Korean products in India by appointing principal-agent, channel partner, trader, dealer and stockiest of the Korean companies. We facilitate International Trade by inviting Indian companies to attend Business Matchmaking / Trade Meeting in Mumbai as well as International Exhibitions at Korea. We also organise e-Trade and Cyber Meeting by circulating import inquiries to suitable Korean manufacturers / suppliers who will contact directly through email and provide technical information of the products and price within 2 to 3 weeks. 2. Foreign Direct Investment to Korea / Inward Investment (Invest KOREA): Invest KOREA is the investment promotion arm of KOTRA. Invest KOREA is the national FDI promotion agency of the Korea which is a division within Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). It serves as the first contact point for any foreign investor considering a location, industry or partner in Korea. Invest KOREA delivers an extensive pre- and post- establishment service as a one-stop window. Invest Korea facilitates the entry and successful establishment of foreign business into Korea. As part of its FDI promotion activities, Invest KOREA identifies top-tier companies in Korea that are seeking strategic partnerships with overseas global companies, and contacts potential partner companies worldwide for the most effective match-making. Invest KOREA is having expert staff from various ministries and relevant organizations. An integrated package of professional services is delivered through designated project managers in Invest KOREA.
