Product Description
As per IS : 1883 / 1983, Metal Steel Racks shall be of three types, namely OPEN TYPE, SEMI OPEN TYPE AND CLOSED TYPE. Besides these three types racks, we are fabricating other different types of racks also such as HEAVY DUTY RACKS, HANGING RACKS ( Above the ground fix on the wall ), ASSEMBLING RACKS, having a bigger shelf at top for assembling and lower one shelf for storing components to be assembled. TABLE-CUM-FILING RACKS, the bottom shelf shall be a bigger one, so that a person can sit and use it as a table. The upper Shelves will be smaller one, suitable to hold office files. Filing racks, storage racks having different load bearing capacity as per demand of the client. RACKS having different load bearing capacity, in the same rack. PIGEON HOLE RACKS ( three sides covered racks having small compartments to store small components / parts ). We can fabricate any type or any size of rack as per the requirement of the party.
ADDITIONAL ACCESSORIES NEEDED FOR SLOTTED ANGLE RACKS
1. GUSSETS(CORNERS) As per IS Specification, it shall be made of 1 mm mild steel sheet and shall not be less then 75 mm long. Minimum 8 gussets, 4 on each face , shall be fitted. Gussets on two sides may also be provided, to give greater rigidity and prevent the rack from becoming out of square.
We provide 8 gussets. More gussets may be provided on specific demand.
2. COVERING As per IS Specification, a rack may be covered on three sides or may be semi- covered rack (covered only at back or only on sides). Back covering, shall be made of not less than 1 mm and Side Covering not less than0.8 mm mild steel sheet. The width of the covering sheet shall be 12.5 mm less then the width of the shelf. It shall stop 50 mm from the ground.
We , considering competitiveness and economical aspect, provide covering of 24 G Sheet. However covering as per IS Specification can be provided on specific demand. Covering may be in one piece or in two pieces.
3. PARTITION is a rectangular plate, fitted between two shelves of a rack, in order to divide a compartment in smaller compartments. It has flanges at top and bottom, to bolt it with upper and lower shelves, at four places. As per IS Specification, it shall be made from mild steel sheet of not less than 0.8 mm.
Considering competitive and economical aspects, we fabricate it from 24G(0.56 mm)sheet. However partitions as per IS Specification can be provided on specific demand.
4. STRIPS These are plain punched strips, which are provided in Open Type and Semi Open Type Racks, to prevent material from toppling. As per IS Specification it shall be made from mil
